Anti-Harassment Policy

REVISION DATE: JULY 2026

1. Our commitment

Thinkpad Creative is committed to providing a working environment in which everyone is treated with dignity, fairness and respect. We have a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, victimisation and discrimination.

We aim to create a professional, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone who works with us, including employees, contractors, clients, suppliers, agency workers and other business partners.

This policy applies to all work-related activities, whether conducted at our own premises, client or supplier locations, business meetings, events, during travel or through telephone, email, messaging platforms, social media and other digital communications.

2. Unacceptable behaviour

We do not tolerate behaviour that intimidates, humiliates, offends, threatens or undermines another person. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment, sexual harassment, bullying or discrimination.
  • Unwanted sexual comments, jokes, advances, propositions or innuendo.
  • Unwanted physical contact, intimidating behaviour or inappropriate gestures.
  • Offensive, discriminatory or sexually explicit images, messages or other material.
  • Victimisation or retaliation against anyone who raises a concern or supports another person.
  • Discrimination related to age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

This list is not exhaustive. Behaviour may be unacceptable regardless of whether it was intended to cause offence.

3. Responsibilities

Everyone working for or representing Thinkpad Creative is expected to behave professionally, treat others respectfully and comply with this policy.

We will take reasonable and proportionate steps to prevent harassment, including communicating appropriate standards of behaviour, providing relevant information and training, considering risks associated with our work and responding appropriately to concerns.

We expect clients, suppliers, contractors and other business partners to uphold equivalent standards when interacting with our team. Where appropriate, we will communicate these expectations to third parties and take action where conduct falls below acceptable standards.

4. Reporting concerns

Anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment or inappropriate behaviour connected with our business is encouraged to raise their concerns as soon as possible.

Reports should be made to:

Contact: David Smith – MD & Creative Director
Email: info@thinkpadcreative.com

All concerns will be taken seriously and handled sensitively, fairly and as confidentially as reasonably possible. Information will only be shared where necessary to address the concern or meet legal obligations.

We will consider the circumstances, take appropriate action and, where necessary, seek advice or involve relevant external authorities.

Anyone raising a concern in good faith, or supporting another person’s report, must not be subjected to retaliation or victimisation.

5. Risk prevention and training

Thinkpad Creative recognises that preventing harassment requires clear standards, awareness and appropriate action.

We are committed to ensuring that relevant personnel understand how to recognise and prevent harassment, sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination, both within the workplace and when interacting with clients, suppliers, contractors and other third parties.

Our training and awareness arrangements cover:

  • Recognising harassment: Understanding unacceptable behaviour, including sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination and inappropriate conduct.
  • Prevention: Promoting respectful working relationships and understanding individual responsibilities.
  • Reporting concerns: Knowing how to raise concerns, report incidents and respond appropriately when someone seeks support.
  • Third-party interactions: Understanding expected standards of conduct during client meetings, site visits, business events and other work-related activities.
  • Protection from victimisation: Ensuring concerns are treated seriously and that people who raise concerns in good faith are not subjected to retaliation.

Relevant personnel will be provided with appropriate information, guidance or training proportionate to their roles and responsibilities. Training and awareness arrangements will be reviewed periodically, and records of completed training will be maintained where applicable.

Thinkpad Creative is committed to continually reviewing its approach to harassment prevention and maintaining a professional, respectful and inclusive working environment.

6. Breaches of this policy

Any reported breach will be considered seriously. Depending on the circumstances, appropriate action may include guidance, additional training, formal disciplinary action, restricting contact, ending a business relationship or referring serious matters to the relevant authorities.

We will cooperate appropriately with clients, suppliers and other organisations when addressing concerns involving people connected with our business.

7. Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains appropriate to our business, working practices and applicable UK legislation.
