Something new to Thinkpad for 2015 was the design of graphics for a custom road bike the ‘Strada Veloce’. The design was to complement the finishing kit and wheelset while maintaining the minimalist look of the white gloss finished carbon fiber frame.
Branding of the ‘S’ of Strada was to be unique among the many road bike manufacturers around the world. With cycling becoming more & more popular over the last few years there are many new & fresh ’boutique’ manufacturers appearing on the scene, each with their own style & brand.
The graphic design for the ‘Veloce’ (Italian for ‘Fast’) was to work in harmony with the current ZIPP, Prologo & Fulcrum branding rather than stand out as something individual. Overall the frame design was to remain clean and fresh, and at the same time recognizable as its own brand ‘Strada’.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS: The overall clean look of the white gloss carbon frame was to be retained while incorporating a design that would be easily recognizable as Strada. Graphics were also to compliment the finishing kit manufacturers logos and colour’s. The colour scheme was decided on as black, white with keytones of red.
